Exciting Expansion Update: On Schedule and Moving Forward!
We are thrilled to share that our incredible expansion project is progressing right on schedule! At this past week’s community meeting, the Shul membership approved the full GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price), officially giving us the green light to move full speed ahead with construction. This milestone marks a significant step forward in bringing our new campus to life.
Over the past several months, we’ve completed critical underground utility work and installed a new perimeter parking lot. Now, we’re ready to move into the next exciting phase. While these changes to our campus are exciting, they also entail the following important changes.

What’s New Starting May 11:
Expanded Perimeter Parking Lot Opens:
The newly completed parking area will officially open. Included in this expansion are additional available parking spots and a dedicated parking zone exclusively for the Women’s Mikvah. This area has been thoughtfully designed to prioritize privacy and discretion. We kindly ask that everyone respect this designation and use these spaces only for Women’s Mikvah-related purposes.
New Temporary Main Entrance:
Access to the building will shift to a newly established “main entrance,” located toward the back of the parking lot, near the former playground area and alongside the Berdugo Beit Midrash. Though we need a few more days to complete some work on rain drainage, this area has been newly paved and well-lit for your safety and convenience. The entrance doors will operate just like the current main entrance, including fob access during off-peak hours.
This entrance will serve as the primary access point for the Shul until the completion of the construction project (estimated to be Fall of 2026). The current main entrance will soon close.
The Keilim Mikvah and the Men’s Mikvah will remain open and accessible throughout the entire construction process.
Please follow the signage and the directions of our security staff carefully.
Front Gate Closure Notice:
As part of this next phase, we will soon be closing the front pedestrian gate and the adjacent vehicle gate (the current exit gate). This area will become the primary construction zone, and equipment deliveries will begin arriving shortly.
If you normally enter through the front pedestrian gate, you will now need to use the gate near the main office and walk around to enter via the The Jacobs and Rubin Youth Center/Hadar High School entrance. Please allow for a few extra minutes when arriving and plan your route accordingly.
Senders Library Access:
As the site preparation work and mobilization begins, access to the Senders Library will be available exclusively from inside the building, through the Social Hall. You will no longer be able to access the Library from the outside.
Construction Timeline Update:
Over the next few weeks, you will begin seeing site preparation work and mobilization for the new building. This will include taking down the tents, relocating the Holocaust Memorial, and beginning demolition work. While some of this activity will be visible, much of it will happen behind the scenes. We appreciate your patience as this important work progresses.

Esti’s Playground Construction Update:
We are delighted to announce that the new playground has received its final permitting approval! Construction is scheduled to begin in the second week of June, with completion expected iy”H by the end of the summer. We can’t wait to see our children enjoying this new and meaningfully designed space.
While we understand that these changes can be inconvenient, we thank you in advance for your patience, flexibility, and understanding.
